How to Measure Your Walls
To use our wallpaper calculator, simply measure:
- The total width of the wall or walls you want to cover.
- The highest point of the wall from floor to ceiling.
When taking your measurements, we always recommend adding at least 2 inches (5cm) to both the width and height. Very few walls are perfectly straight, and many homes have slightly uneven ceilings, sloping floors, or walls that aren’t completely square. Allowing this extra margin gives your installer room to trim the wallpaper for a perfect finish and helps avoid any issues caused by wonky walls.
Once you’ve taken your measurements, enter them into our calculator, and it will instantly work out:
